2010 Triple Crown, August 29th
With a revised first leg of the Triple Crown, we were interested to hear the feedback on the higher entrance and the back door route that we chose to get up there. Feedback was…. people were stoked! More than half the riders had never been up that drainage before so the excitement and curiosity exceeded the effort being put forth.
While it snowed and rained higher in the mountains that day, we were blessed with great trail condition and perfect weather. Turkey Cranberry smokies at the feed station were also a big hit for folks heading out for the last of the Triple in the Triple Crown.
And unlike the Google double rainbow, Triple Crown riders were treated with a tired but satiated stoke at the back alley wood burning, Nelson Brewery drinking kegger after party/dinner.
