Posted on December 2, 2011 by NRG

Wink has been riding for Chromag for two years now, and has spent the last few months putting in work for this video part. It’s called “About Time” because it’s about time he put out a proper web edit. Wink has a unique riding style and a unique approach to filming, hope you enjoy it!

Winter is coming to the Kootenay’s

Posted on November 16, 2011 by NRG

Remembrance day brought possibly the last day of trail riding here in the Kootenays. By the time we had climbed to the top of the Paper Bag it was snowing heavily and there was already 3-4 inches of snow from earlier in the week. Bundled up we dropped in to great (all be it snowy) condition to the valley floor. Snowed the rest of the day and into the next day. Seemed like it was as good as time as any to try out the Pugsley on one of our lower level trails that follows a creek for several km’s. Dropped the PSI to 8 and threw it into Granny and had blast. Looking forward to shredding pow but was great to keep the riding season alive.

Triple Crown 2012

Posted on September 30, 2011 by NRG

This last weekend we held our annual Triple Crown event. It hosts three of our in town classics. The stats work out something like 60km distance with an elevation ascent and descent of 8200′. The day started of early with warm temps but with the prospect of rain. Luckily for the 57 starters there was just a small amount of precip on the first leg.
