Mike Kinrade

Born and raised in Nelson BC, Mike has made working in the outdoors a priority throughout his professional career.  Mike is one of the few athletes to be invited to the Redbull Rampage for four consecutive years, and he continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible on two wheels.

Reece Wallace

Reece is a slope style athlete hailing from the west coast of BC, torn between Whistler in the summer and Vancouver in the winter. He loves riding bikes, whether it’s travelling to slope style events, local jump spots, or shredding big mountain lines.  NRG helps Reece do just that by hooking him up with Maxxis Tires. We’re stoked to have him as part of the NRG crew.

Joe Schwartz

As a pro freerider, Joe’s had movie segments, magazines covers, and has competed in extreme mtb contests. He’s still in the scene, milking it in all ways possible. He’s an experienced bike coach and he also has an extensive guiding background on both dirt and snow. Joe has been a part of NRG crew since he was a young lad. He’s stoked to represent several NRG brands including Chromag, Maxxis, MRP, Nuun and Kuat.

Forrest Riesco

As a downhill racer from the Sunshine Coast, Forrest recently raced at the 2012 World Championships in Austria. There he placed 25th, and was the fastest Canadian Junior.   He was 2nd Junior overall in the Canada Cup series, and 4th at the National Championships.   For 2013 Forrest plans to do a lot more racing and traveling.  NRG has supported Forrest, keeping him supplied with fresh Maxxis rubber and rolling smooth with Hope hubs.

Johhny Smoke

The BushPilot trailmaster says: A herd of buffalo only moves as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, the slowest and weakest ones are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd, because the overall speed and health of the group keeps improving by killing off the weakest members.  Similarily, the human brain only operates as fast as the slowest brain cells. Although excessive alcohol intake kills brain cells, it naturally attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer elimates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That’s why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

Lorreta Henderson

I recently received a questionnaire from a bicycle touring website who wanted to know how many pairs of panties I am packing in my panniers to cycle around the world.  I told them that my panties were none of their business, but if they wanted to know what kind of PANNIERS I was packing, I’d love to talk. Thanks to NRG, I love my Ortlieb panniers and if you must know, yes they really do keep my panties safe and completely dry and in all conditions.
